Greenfield’s meeting house is the oldest buidling in the state that serves as both a town meeting house and a church.  The town is home to Greenfield State Park, part of the Wapack Trail and the Crotched Mountain Rehabilitation Center.

According to the 2000 U.S. Census Bureau, Greenfield’s population at the time was 1,657 people.  This included 563 households and 405 families.  The average family size was 3.15 and the average household size was 2.69.  Greenfield, New Hampshire is comprised of 25.5 square miles of land and 0.6 square miles of water.
